My name is Erin Sutter, and I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year at Temple! I have 8 years of experience teaching secondary English, but very happily transitioned to teaching elementary last year. This is my second year teaching here at Temple, but I am a 2005 TCS alum and couldn’t be happier to be back home, serving the community that played such a crucial part in my own academic and spiritual life. I have a B.A. in English from Texas Wesleyan University and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Arlington Baptist University.
My husband and I have two little boys who are in Kindergarten and 2nd grade here at Temple this year; they love school! We also love to spend our free time together reading, playing outside, building with Legos, going to baseball games, and doing DIY projects around our house.
I feel so blessed to be a part of Temple Christian School. I love seeing my students’ precious, smiling faces each morning and seeing their growth from week to week, and I promise to always do my best to give them the best: academically as well as spiritually. Having the opportunity to talk about Jesus and pray with them is the highlight of my job. I hope to set a positive example for them each and every day.
