My name is Mackenzie Cutchall, and I have had the privilege of teaching at TCS since 2019. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from LeTourneau University and a master’s degree in Public Health in Epidemiology from UNT. After working in healthcare analytics, the Lord placed a desire on my heart to make a change and pursue teaching high school. It has been such a fun and rewarding adventure!

I currently teach Honors Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus, Physics, and two courses in the high school engineering pathway. One of my favorite parts of teaching is helping students see the beauty and order of God’s Creation through math, science, and engineering. It is especially meaningful to hear from former students when they are in college and pursuing engineering or other STEM fields. I am honored to have played even a small part in their journey and to be able to encourage and advise them as they navigate college and their future careers.

I am also grateful to have my husband, Justin, as a resource in this area. He is an engineer in commercial construction and brings a valuable real-world perspective to our engineering program. He helps me stay connected to current practices and developments in the engineering industry. It is a blessing to be able to learn from his experience and incorporate that perspective into what we are teaching our students.

Justin and I have been married since 2010, and we have four children who attend TCS. We are so grateful to be part of the TCS community.
