Dr. Gary Chevalier has served on pastoral staff in the local church for over 25 years. Additionally, he is a certified teacher in the State of Texas and has worked for 10 years in both public and private schools. He attained a bachelor’s degree from East Texas Baptist University, a master’s from the University of North Texas, and completed his doctorate in Educational Leadership at Dallas Baptist University in 2023.

In addition to joining the Bible Department at TCS, Dr. Chevalier also invests his energies at CrossCreek Church in Colleyville, TX, developing young pastors and ministers through the CrossCreek Residency, a year-long program designed to equip the next generation of church leaders with practical ministry skills and a strong foundation in servant leadership.

Perhaps his most distinguishing characteristic, however, is that he is married to the incomparable Dr. Andrea Chevalier, the current Head of School at TCS. He boasts two vivacious daughters, Audrey and Allison, the latter of whom has also joined the TCS staff teaching 2nd Grade! He enjoys running, scuba diving, Broadway musicals, and lying on a Caribbean beach.
