I started at Temple as the Elementary PE teacher in 2023. I love ending my day by coaching MS girls' sports and SST.  

My previous experience includes PE and Spanish Teacher at Tacoma Baptist in Washington State.  I graduated from PLU with a Major in Spanish. 
I taught Spanish and coached for a few years, started our family and then my husband and I went to the mission field.  Our 2-year commitment to Nicaragua and Central America ultimately became a 10-year journey.  While abroad, our focus was education and leadership. My husband was the AD and PE teacher at Nicaragua Christian Academy and I volunteered at the orphanage and I started a preschool.  I also tutored at NCA.

My husband and I have 3 children, 2 as students at TCS.  We love to spend time together as a family.  We enjoy games, sports and creating memories together outdoors in God's creation.

When not in the gym coaching or watching my kids play sports, I enjoy running, playing and watching sports and finding new adventures.  A few of the most memorable would be running a marathon, climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, and the Fuego Y Agua cross terrain race.

I am so thankful to be at TCS as a teacher and have my children in classes where a strong Biblical Worldview is a focus.
