Temple West is the newest addition to Temple Christian Schools, Inc. and is now in its eighth year of operation.  Our  program consists of  K-4 through sixth grade.  We are located on the west side of Ft. Worth, and are currently leasing the facilities of  Castleberry Baptist Church.  Castleberry Baptist and Temple Christian have reached an agreement to build a school complex on the acreage donated by Castleberry. 

 

Mrs. Stringer and Mrs. Lueck took their classes outside to watch "history in the making" as the ground is prepared for construction to begin on our new building.  "The students were just as excited as their teachers".

PRAYER REQUEST

 

Pat Brooke, TCS Financial Director, will be undergoing further testing this week in Dallas.  Her myeloma tests are elevated and the testing will determine what course needs to be taken. (1/27) (2/7) Pat is no longer in remission but her doctor seemed confident that  the  medication that he is putting her on would probably return her to remission. Update 2/19: The new medicine is being tolerated well but an MRI did reveal some concentration of myeloma cells in her hip.  The doctor is seeing if the current medication will take care of this. (4/4) Pat is awaiting test results

Roger McAtee - brother of TCS Superintendent and TW administrator, Dorothy Stringer

David Wilson - (TCS 9th grader and son of TW instructor Luena Wilson), is undergoing a continuing series of tests trying to determine the source of problems he is experiencing. (1/23)


Mark Stringer - (husband of TW instructor Brandi, and son of TCS Superintendent, Dorothy Stringer), will be undergoing further tests in late January on a back ailment that has plagued him for several years. (1/18)
(1/25)  Doctors say he must learn to live with the pain he is experiencing. 2/19 Mark is scheduled for testing today. (2/27) Mark is waiting for the report from the Functioning Capacity Exam.  The results from this test will indicate if he will be able to return to work.

Mike Smith - TCS Development Director, is undergoing long term treatment for a partially blocked artery to his heart.

Ryan Hill - Cathy Martens (retired TCS Instructor) grandson had complication from an emergency appendectomy on March 9th. Pray also for Cathy as she is staying at the hospital 24/7, except for a couple of nights. 4/17 Ryan was able to drink liquids today for the 1st time since the surgery and seems to be improving.  4/23 Ryan is home!!!  Thank you for your prayers for Ryan and his family.  Ryan will continue his recovery at his grandparents home.
