JOSH McDOWELL SEMINARS ENTHUSIASTICALLY RECEIVED
An auditorium full of teens listened virtually spellbound recently to three one hour long seminars presented by Josh McDowell, one of this generation's best known Christian speakers.  Three parent sessions offered in the evening were also special blessings and challenges to all who attended.  Josh's special approach to teen problems and Christian apologetics is unique to him.   He has sold over 50 million books and spoken to over 300 million people during his ministry.
TCS students also made a positive impression on Josh as he commented several times in the evening sessions and personally to the TCS staff how he sensed a special atmosphere at the school that he did not often find even in Christian schools.  He particularly singled out TCS teen's attitude, behavior and Bible knowledge and commented it was an obvious positive reflection on the school's staff.  Josh's morning teen sessions are available on CD (DVD?) from his ministry.

TCS Rated as DFW's Most Affordable School

In a survey of the top 51 private schools in the Metroplex by the Dallas Business Journal Temple Christian was rated as the most affordable school in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Temple has always attempted to provide a quality Christian education affordable to most parents.  In addition to the tuition ranking TCS also offers a variety of discounts not considered in the survey.

To maintain our full array of enrichment and extracurricular programs, quality certified teachers, and still be affordable has not been easy.  We covet the prayers or our Temple family as we attempt to continue this TCS tradition - and Praise the Lord for his blessings.

                         doctrinal statement

                          TEMPLE CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS

Temple Christian Schools adheres to the doctrinal position of its founding church.  The main purpose for Temple Christian Schools is to train young people to better serve and experience the love of Jesus Christ.
We believe in and teach these basic principles:

        1. The inspiration of the Bible, equally in all parts and without error in its origin.

        2. The one God, eternally existent Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who created man by a direct immediate act.

        3. The pre-existence, incarnation, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary death, resurrection, ascension to Heaven, and the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

        4. The fall of man, the need for regeneration by the Lord Jesus Christ, living a life of righteous works, separated from the world, witnessing of His saving grace through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

(Families from many faiths are served by Temple Christian Schools.  We request that no student or parent become involved in any type of proselyting.  Our host churches, Temple Baptist Church and Castleberry Baptist Church, do not practice this, and we cannot permit others to use the school to aid in the promotion of their particular church or faith.  No attempt will ever be made by the school staff to pull a student away from his/her home church.  Students from over 150 different churches and 35 different denominations make up the Temple family.  While attempting to avoid "hot button" religious issues as much as possible, Temple Christian does, without apology, teach the necessity of salvation through Jesus Christ.)

*To be provided with a wide variety of co-curricular opportunities conducted in an atmosphere and with attitudes and behavior that exalt Jesus Christ.
