My name is Melissa Jackson, and I started teaching at TCS in 2017. I am an Arizona native, but Texas is home! I started playing the French horn in 7th grade, and since that point, God has nurtured in me a love for using music to teach all ages about Him.

I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2010 with a Bachelors in Music Education and Horn Performance; after moving to Texas in 2012 to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, I graduated with my Masters in Church Music Ministry in 2015. Before coming to TCS, I worked in church music ministry as well as taught private piano lessons.

Jesus is all the world to me, and I love teaching music! I am excited to make music with your children this year and strive to honor Christ in all we think, say, and do.
