Superintendent, Secondary Principal, Development, Secondary Bible

In 1973, God placed a burden on my heart to serve Him in a ministry above and beyond the opportunities already involved in within my local church. I prayed for Him to show me what I could do and within two weeks my pastor came to me and told me that Temple Baptist Church was opening a Christian school and that they needed a kindergarten teacher. I knew that this was the Lord answering my prayer to be used for His service. It has been my absolute joy and privilege to serve in each capacity offered me at Temple. My teaching assignments have included kindergarten, elementary and secondary classes. Since 1974, I have also served in some capacity as an administrator. My undergraduate work was at Arlington Baptist College where I received a Bachelor of Religious Education and a Bachelor of Science. I received a Master’s in Educational Administration from Pensacola Christian College. My husband Donald is a constant encouragement and support to me and to the ministry of Temple Christian School. Our two sons attended Temple from K-4 through 12th grade and all six of my grandchildren have attended a portion of their schooling at TCS. Serving at Temple is the answer to a prayer that continues to bless me more every year. I thank God for the opportunity.
