I am excited to be at Temple! I have been married to my wonderful husband Dwight for 27 years, and we have four beautiful children (or should I say young adults)- Lauren, who is married to my son-in-law Brandon and works as a CVICU nurse, David who is actively serving in the Marine Corps in Okinawa, Matthew who is also actively serving in the Marine Corps in Hawaii, and John who is an 12th grade student here at Temple. I am also a very proud "Lolli" to Brooklynn- our first granddaughter! I began teaching after I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington. I taught in the public school system until my second child, David, was born, and then took a leave of absence to raise my children.  I returned to teaching, this time in the private school sector, when all my kids were old enough to start school.  I am blessed to have had a taste of both worlds- be a "stay-at-home mom"  until my children started school, and teach in both the public and private Christian education world.  I have loved every minute of it!

My life verse is Philippians 4:13 "I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me."  He provides ALL we need, and I am excited to continue this next chapter in my life here at Temple.
