Application Process

Thank you for inquiring about Temple Christian School. Our students receive quality physical, academic, and spiritual training in a Christian setting. Returning students make up a high percentage of our student body which reflects on both parent and student satisfaction with the TCS program.

 

Before Enrollment

To help you make the best decision for your family, we offer several opportunities to learn about Temple Christian School. We would love to give prospective families a tour of our campus and get to know your family, while giving you an opportunity to become acquainted with ours. Enrollment

  • Student must be 4 years old by October 1
  • Student must be potty trained.
  • Complete the online application and submit the non-refundable $75 application fee
  • Provide copies of the following Official Documents:
Birth certificate
Immunization records
Diagnostic medical or academic testing results
  • Student must be 5 years old by October 1
  • Student must be potty trained.
  • Complete the online application and submit the non-refundable $100 application fee
  • Provide copies of the following Official Documents:
Birth certificate
Immunization records
Diagnostic medical or academic testing results
  • Parents will be contacted to schedule an entrance testing day.
  • Complete family interview with the principal. (Student and at least one parent should be present at this interview) This is typically scheduled on the same day as testing, but another date may be scheduled if necessary.
  • Students entering 1st grade must be 6 years old by October 1 or must have completed kindergarten in an accredited school or state-licensed daycare.
  • Students entering 2nd – 5th grade must have completed the previous grade.
  • Complete the online application and submit the non-refundable $100 application fee
  • Submit Teacher Recommendation from former school
  • Submit Letter of Recommendation from pastor or church official (3rd – 5th)
  • Provide copies of the following Official Documents:
Birth certificate
Immunization records
Most recent Standardized Test results
Most recent report card
Diagnostic medical or academic testing results
  • You will be contacted to schedule an entrance testing day.
  • Complete family interview with the principal. This is typically scheduled on the same day as testing, but another date may be scheduled if necessary.
  • Complete the online application and submit the non-refundable $100 application fee.

Important Enrollment Dates

 
Enrollment Opens: January
Early Enrollment: Families enrolled and enrollment fee paid on or before February 15 will receive a tuition discount of $250 per family.
Tuition Payment: Tuition paid in FULL on or before May 15 will receive a tuition discount of $400 per family.
 

Next Steps

After you have been accepted, the following events and information will help you prepare for a successful and smooth transition to Temple Christian School.

Families can easily stay up-to-date on all current events and information by regularly checking the myTCS page on our website. The link can be found in the upper right corner of the website. An email summarizing weekly events is sent home every Sunday.

Elementary: TCS supplies all books to elementary students.

Secondary: Secondary students are required to purchase their own books. For more information, click here.

Supply Lists for each grade can be found on the myTCS page.

All students are required to abide by all uniform and dress code rules. Uniforms should be purchased before the first day of school.

Eagle Outfitters: Purchase TCS polos, Friday shirts, pink-out shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, PE attire, and other items at our school store located in the administration building.

Lone Star Team Gear: Purchase all other uniform gear here. This may include pants, skirts, skorts, shorts, jumpers, and dresses.

Be sure to attend 6th grade orientation and our all-school Open House. Both events take place the week before school starts.
