Mrs. Purvis' teaaching career
is in it's 18th year. Her career at Temple has lasted for six years. She attended the University of Kansas and double
majored in English and Journalism. The subjects she specializes in is American and British Literature. She relates to her
students very well. The students behave excellent which is the reason that they go on a few field trips. Her greatest
experiences at Temple have been Spirit Week and the AP exam results. She loves the way her students are able to get part
of college out of the way by taking her class. In her class she teaches students research skills and how to think. This
helps the students tremendously in college.
